Problem & Project Goal
The problem:
Busy professionals and trainers did not have a way to share information needed to help improve clients fitness levels.
The project goal:
Create an efficient app that would allow users ease of use to remove the barrier of non-compliant with training by tracking exercise workouts to help them reach their goals.
Initial Design Concepts
Initial sketches were trying to capture the design the focus was trying to ensure that the necessary features found in the research to address the users pain points:
- Lack of time
- Did not want cluttered screens
- Required accessibility
Wireframes
Users wanted to quickly schedule and see fitness tracking information.
This is the initial prototype user flow before the usability study.
Usability Study Findings
Modifications were made to the app based on users testing of the low fidelity wireframe of the app. One task during the early design allowed clients to select any time. Users stated during the testing that they needed to quickly be able to schedule an appointment with their trainer, so functionality was added to allow them to see available times in green to make scheduling more efficient.
Conclusion
Lessons Learned:
The design captured the needs of the user find during research and testing of the final mockup.

Next Steps:
- Conduct another round of usability studies
- Hand off design to developers to perform beta testing
- Conduct more user research to determine any new areas of need
